A remarkable and moving customer testimonial for the Medinose
Dear whoever, I have a ten year old son who has since birth suffered with eczema and its associated relatives namely hayfever. As a baby we managed to get the eczema under control and the hayfever wasn't a great problem at this time. However when he started school this became a serious problem every summer. As soon as the weather turned decent his nose started running and his eyes streamed. If the weather was nice and the lessons were held outside this became a nightmare for him. Sports days terrified him, yet he struggled on. We listened to the doctors and gave him what anti-histamines he was allowed. To no avail.
He wore sunglasses to school to try and ease the suffering. This was rewarded with scorn and ridicule from his schoolmates. He was called "Freak" and numerous other names. No matter what we tried nothing worked. Not only did his nose run but it managed to be blocked and bunged up all at the same time and often had nosebleeds. He has been in pain and discomfort for most of his life.
Every summer holiday he has been a prisoner in his own home. Not daring to go outside for fear of the pain and discomfort he would suffer later. AND HE LOVES BEING OUTSIDE. Richard has Aspergers syndrome which is a form of Autism. This means he is very bright yet has quirks. He talks a lot, and one of his ways of playing is to walk around and act out whatever he is playing. But he feels embarrassed and so prefers to do it outside. However he has this dilemma!! And so it has been till now. His main pleasure has been his biggest source of pain and discomfort. His life has been a nightmare.
By sheer chance I saw your advert for the Medinose in a newspaper. And I saw that it was recommended by Dr Chris Steele of ITVs This Morning program. Although I had seen some programmes with Dr Steele and they had often contained interesting information, I hadn't seen the one about the Medinose, and if I had I don't think I would have believed it. I thought it was one of "those" schemes. The "slimming tea" thing. It was desperation not belief that caused me to consider it.
Then I saw you "money back guarantee" and still wasn't convinced. Eighty pounds is a lot of money to get a light shone up your nose. But if it could bring him any relief at all it would be worth ten times that. So out of sheer desperation I sent for a Medinose on the 20th June 2006.
I can’t remember how long it took to come. I forget how long the delivery time was, but I know we were counting the days, and still managed to be out when it arrived by Royal mail. So we had to wait another 3 days or so before picking it up from their dead letter place. So I would think we got it about two weeks or so after order. Which means he has been using it now for about five weeks.
The change has been remarkable. He now has the choice of going out or staying in like any other kid,and its HIS choice. The decision isn't made for him by a quirk of nature, and the only cost is to sit with his nose lit up like a Christmas tree, three times a day, for five minutes. According to the literature with the machine these amounts of times will reduce. I believe this claim totally now and I think we could reduce the times now. In fact he sometimes forgets and misses a time and doesn't seem to suffer any for it. I think the main reason we haven't reduced the times is fear.
We still give him the anti-histamines as well. Again more from fear than faith. He recently visited Flamingoland and had a great time. This would have been unthinkable last year.
No-one has asked me to say any of the above. I have not been approached by anyone and asked so make any recommendation whatsoever. I am not being paid to say any of this. I am writing to you to thank your company for giving my son his life back. And if my words help one parent to make the decision to take the chance and give it a go. And if that helps ONE child get their life back like mine has, then it will have been worth the time writing.
I have no idea if this product will help any other person. All I can say is that the change to my son was incredible. I am still amazed at the difference each day. He still sounds very nasal but is not in pain or discomfort of any kind at all.
The reason for my writing this letter is to say thank you. My son is a step closer to being like any other ten year old boy, and I look forward to seeing his dirty knees all summer long now. Thank you so much.
If you wish to use this letter in any way please feel free to do so. Or not. Your choice. I only wish to thank you once again.
