LifeMel honey may help cancer patients
Study shows potential medical benefits of a type of honey for cancer patients
A hospital study which has been published in the International Medical Journal 'Medical Oncology' has highlighted the benefits of a type of honey for cancer patients. According to the study, the active ingredients in 'LifeMel' honey are absorbed directly in the blood, where they stimulate blood-cell production, increase the quantity of platelets and raise the haemoglobin level. It has been showing exceptional results when taken by cancer patients receiving chemotherapy or radiation therapy whose bloods are depleted by their treatment. The company stresses that the honey is not a cancer cure.
It is available from www.lifemel.co.uk or call 0207 247 5497 priced £45.
Dr Chris: "They have one case study who is a doctor with leukaemia - he heard about the honey and decided to see if it worked. The level of white blood cells drop in patients with leukaemia. Before taking the honey his level had dropped to 1.2 and after they rose to 6.2 - I'm very impressed."
