Britney Spears - My Diagnosis

As featured in Woman Magazine
I really feel for poor Britney. She's been to hell and back in the past few weeks - and all under the scrutinizing glare of the media. Like everyone, I have been amazed and concerned by her 'on the edge' behaviour - shaving her hair, her tattoo obsession, and taking herself in and out of rehab all indicate a very disturbed mental state.
I'm going to put my reputation on the line here and say that it wouldn't surprise me if she were diagnosed as 'schizoid' or suffering from early stage schizophrenia.
It has been suggested that she shaved her head because she thought that she had head lice. This seems like paranoid behaviour for a condition that can be so easily treated. That, along with all her other abnormal behaviour does indicate a young person living with an unbalanced mind worsened by her personal relationships with the men in her life.
I hope I am wrong! She now needs time out of the spotlight to recover with supportive professional help and lots of TLC. We wish you well, Britney.
