How to calculate your BMI
The formula to calculate your BMI is as follows:

DIVIDE you weight in KILOGRAMMES by your height in METRES then DIVIDE this answer by your height in METRES again.

In "old money" measurements the formula is
DIVIDE your weight in POUNDS by your height in INCHES then DIVIDE this answer by your height in INCHES then mutlipy this answer by 703.

Information about the BMI
The BMI only works for adults. It does not work for children. It is not appropriate for pregnant or breast feeding women. If you weight train or are an athelete it may give incorrect results.
