Body Mass Index calculatorBMI is an indicator of how healthy your weight is compared to your height
Body Mass Index (BMI) is a number calculated from your weight and your height. It then provides you with an indication of how healthy your weight is.
How to calculate your BMI
The formula to calculate your BMI is as follows:
DIVIDE you weight in KILOGRAMMES by your height in METRES then DIVIDE this answer by your height in METRES again.
In "old money" measurements the formula is DIVIDE your weight in POUNDS by your height in INCHES then DIVIDE this answer by your height in INCHES then multiply this answer by 703.
